22nd Annual Wine Country Film Festival

Gilbert & Sullivan: The Mikado

Presented by Lamplighter's Music Theatre

The most popular musical show in the history of the English language, Gilbert & Sullivan's The Mikado comes fully staged, sumptuously costumed and with a live orchestra. This energetic and lively production boasts a truly diverse character line-up: a prince disguised as a trombone player, an executioner who wouldn't kill a fly and a politician who'll do anything for a bribe. Pete Escovedo & Sons

Timbalero Pete Escovedo played with Cal Tjader and formed his own Chicano-rock group, Azteca, before coming to prominence with Carlos Santana's band in the 1970s. Throughout a long career, Escovedo has focused on a vision of contemporary Latin jazz filtered through a pop-tinged prism. His eleven-member group produces a unique and

Day for the Queen

As one of the most anticipated events of the summer, the day is dedicated to the enjoyment of life in the community. Beginning with tennis and golf tournaments followed by a mid-day luncheon and fashion show, the evening continues with a barbecue dinner and dance celebration! Fourth Annual Prime Rib in the Park

Travis Air Force Base Air Expo 2008

Travis Air Force Base will open its gates to the public for the Air Expo 2008 "Above All--Celebrating Air Power over the Golden West." Highlights of this year's Air Expo include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team, the U.S. Army Golden Knights, a C-17 "Globemaster" capability demonstration, a KC-10 "Extender" demonstration, an F-22 from the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command Demo Team, and numerous warbird demonstrations. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 30-31.
