15th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), the drive has collected more than three-quarters of a billion pounds of food for community food banks and pantries. Customers place nonperishable food items next to the mailbox prior to mail delivery; the letter carrier then takes the food to the post office to be sorted and delivered. Not every post office participates, so visit your local post office or log onto usps.com/communications/community/fooddrive.htm to find out their status. Saturday, May 12.
